Migdarran (pronunciation: meegh-dar-ran) is the smallest continent in Daneva yet the most populous, bordering Ulvataran to the north and Edirisiran to the west. The Durgethar River flows through the continent, from its source in Ulvataran that eventually exits into the Mirvella Sea.
As the Age of Heroes drew to a close, the population of Migdarran began to rise rapidly, largely due to waves of migrants arriving from Ulvataran. Yet long before this mass migration, the land was already home to both human and elven tribes. Among the most notable of these early human tribes were the Glargia, Torgash, and Maïyïs —each claiming descent from a mysterious and long-forgotten figure, known only as the Father of Fathers.

The most populous kingdoms in the region are Vorgarya and Dagayak, and are both human kingdoms, which together account for approximately 59% of the human population on the continent. By comparison, the elves of the Kaluyan Woodlands constitute around 20% of the population, forming the largest non-human demographic group in the area.
In numerical terms, Midgarran is predominantly inhabited by the Asirga people. The dominant languages correspond to the local languages spoken within the Asirga tribes, which are spoken most extensively in Vorgarya and Dagayak. Smaller communities of other language dialects are also present, though they represent a minority.
The widespread use of the Asirgan languages is attributed to a long history of political and military expansion, most notably the Mexilikon conquests of the 20th century BDA (Before Dark Age), which established Asirgan cultural and linguistic dominance across much of the continent.

There are several political entities across Migdarran, forming regions with a unified central government system. Throughout history, Migdarran has been home to various tribes, mostly elf and human, who travelled from the north in search of fertile soil for planting harvests. The majority of Migdarran’s population consists of the Asirga people, who were farmers and hunter gatherers before becoming nomadic pastoralists and moving constantly across the continent. The Asirga people divided into tribes and lived in various places. Some of these tribes have combined to establish bigger political structures, such as Vorgarya.
